How i wish to have a park to enjoy

I didn't go back to hometown during Raya holiday to avoid traffic jam.
We experienced the bad traffic for a few years thus we stop doing that.

Well, staying in the quiet city wasn't so bad at all.
Since I have so much free time, I planned a visit to JW's new house in Setia Alam.
She moved in for quite a couple of months but I haven't had a chance to view her new house.

We were discussing what to have for dinner, either to cook or to take delivery.
The lady owner suggested to utilise her new kitchen, hence cooking was the choice. :)

So we went to shop at Tesco in the neighbourhood and 'here we go!'

The process was fun, as we three girls were kinda kelam-kabut as we all never prepared food for 9 people!
But luckily the food turned out quite ok, at least not burnt or uncooked. ;P

Our dinner is served!
Fried spaghetti, chicken curry and stirfried vege.

Since her house has extra room for me to stay, so I stayed overnight.
Thus I had a chance to have a walk at the nearby park.
It's within walking distance, so nice!

At basketball court. They have 2 courts in the park alone.

Kitty came near to play with us.

A lot of bamboo plants along the walkway.

Walking barefoot on soil

We had an organic farm visit in Bangi on one Sunday morning.

Do bring kids and yourself to the farm so that none of you will think that carrots are from supermarket.
Also how the farmers grow vegetables without pesticide.

GK Organic Farm

Eating banana together with skin while listening to brief by farmer Mr Gan.

Walking barefoot while visiting the farm to feel the soil, and also to release static from our body.

Mr Gan the farmer with misai kucing, the great plant that can cure illness.

Okra.
We ate it fresh from the plant. It's very crunchy and delicious!

Cabbage.

Fig tree.

Pumpkin.

A chance for us to plant vegetables.

Roselle. The leaves are sour too.

They cleared the messy leaves before we came so that we only need to dig out the sweet potatoes.
Each of us brought home a pack of sweet potatoes too.

Extremely good organic buffet lunch!

Compost in the making. At least 6 months is needed to produce them naturally.

Popular BookFest 2012

The annual thing that is marked in our calendar-it's here again!

When I said I won't visit and buy books anymore, I lied. Haha~

So we were there yesterday which was also the first day of the book fair.
The admission fee is slightly adjusted from RM2 to RM2.50.

Nevermind, it's still worthwhile for the bargain.

Here are the books that 3 of us got.

Also Lisa Ono's CD for myself. Yey!

 陶晶莹 Momoko Tao's book.
We eyed on it long ago, and this time I picked it up.

The new magazine publication from Taiwan.
We had the first issue which we find it good.
These are real bargains as it's only RM9.90 per copy.
Chenyee bought the first issue for near RM20 from Kinokuniya.

Shopping Design.
I bought almost every issues.
Backdated ones for RM7.80 per copy.
