Nuts, seeds, flour, rice, grains, dried fruits. You name it.
If you follow Zero Waste Malaysia you might already know about this bulk store. It's not fairly near to me, but so happened that I was in the area today, I paid a visit to this minimalism style shop.

Finally, after half a year back in KL, I got my latest batch of pottery work I did at A Touch of Clay recently.
I did not set any them or concept this type, just some random ones.
More like back in the studio I used to play at before I went to Melaka, now I need time to familiarize with the space again.
I put all up for sale at Purple Miao now, apart from 2 small bowls that have some defects so I kept them for myself.

It's pilot micro house by Tetawowe Atelier, a local architect firm.
It was temporarily built in Medan Pasar for World Urban Forum early last month.
The whole house only takes 2 parking lots size.
The idea was about when the future city depends on public transport and car sharing system, we won't be needing so many car parks. So what to do with the excessive parking lots? Build houses for those fresh graduates working in the city but couldn't afford to live inside the city.
The look of the bedroom upstairs.
Compact but well planned space.
Looking down to the living/dining area from 1st floor.
The kitchen area, also viewing from the room above.
Not only they built the house, they also take care of the surrounding space by adding landscape features including some swings that we enjoyed very much. Wweeeee~

I had a rather challenging year 2017.
From Melaka moving back to KL, it was a mixed feeling event. One is I like the life in Melaka, but another thing is the market is better for me in the big city. And also means I could save on one extra room rental.
Not only my life, my whole business changed as well.
Thanks to Purple Miao to offer a space for me in their cafe. Now I have 'colleagues' to share my ups and downs during working hour. :)
Looking forward to have a great 2018.
Wish you the same too!
