Renewal 重生
Every year, when we go back to our hometown for Chinese New Year, our balcony plants would be left for own survival. No proper watering, so we only hope for the rain.
Most of the small plants were gone, only those in big pots managed to survive.
The one on the left is a succulent plant, so it survived well. To our surprise, the mint survived too!
It still displayed a little sign of survival with green stem who we came back although all the leaves were gone. After a few days of watering, the leaves showed up!
And this is one little monster, pennywort or pegaga in Malay.
They need a lot of water, so normally when lack of watering, they will immediately wither in a day.
We had been witnessing this for many years, once you keep watering them for many days, they will start to pop up some small green leaves. And in maybe less than a month time, they will grow one pot of green like nothing happened before.
So don't give up on them so fast.
This roselle plant is also a surprise in the garden.
It grows from the seeds I threw into compost bin (the fruits I bought from GK organic farm in Bangi).
