Kamo Home 容县七号, Sauk

We'd been talking about this trip for some times, and finally we made it work by end of the year 2019.

Kamo Home is definitely one great place to do nothing but chill.

We booked the river tracing which is a 2 day 1 night package, but we feel like it's better to add one more day just to relax ourselves. So we ended up with 3 days 2 night stay at the cosy Chinese village wooden house.

We did not regret a bit of our decision. It was the best relaxing trip ever.

On the day we arrived at Kamo Home, it's near afternoon. We didn't even ask what's the check in/check out time there before coming. 

So when we popped that question, the owner Kamo said "there's none". Ahhha!

We were quite tired as we worked until midnight the day before, so we decided to just laze around, make coffee drink coffee, then had afternoon nap.

 I brought along one of my favourite snack.

This is Roti Canai the cat. Kamo named him so because they first met when Kamo was having roti canai at Adam Restaurant, the kitty came to Kamo and stayed for some time. So Kamo brought him home. Roti Canai is a disciplined and independent cat that won't enter the guestroom.

We went to Adam Restaurant to have breakfast. 

Nasi lemak, karipap, kuih ketayap and their special bread like Chinese 'ham chin peng'.

After that we went to the wet market to buy some ingredients for our rice ball for picnic later that as well as dinner.

We also bought some vegetables from the neighbour who plants a whole compound of greens.

That's garden to table, yeah.

We brought along a basket so that we can buy without extra packaging.

Zero waste it is.

So good that we have a chef coming along to do the cooking.

Our onigiri -rice, pumpkin, curry leaves. 

We made pumpkin pickles too, so good!

We spent about 1 hour to reach our picnic spot. 

Kamo brought a camping stove to boil some ginger tea, which is good to warm up ourselves after the water activity. 

 After having a good shower, we toasted the bread I made then had pumpkin spread on top.

Another relaxing afternoon...

I brought my silly toy along haha!

We had really a good time there, thanks to the chilled owner.

The whole house including the room is so clean and tidy, I've got nothing to complain.
